Privacy Policy

Reliqra is operated by Swamp Treasure LLC. This policy describes how the Reliqra iOS app and related services collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information we collect

Photos you take. When you photograph a collectible, the image is sent through our secure proxy to OpenAI's Vision API for AI-assisted identification. The image is also uploaded to your private cloud storage (Amazon S3) so it appears in your inventory. We do not retain copies of your photos on our servers after processing.

Inventory data. Product details (titles, grades, descriptions, pricing, marketplace listings) are stored locally on your device using Core Data and synced across your devices via Apple iCloud/CloudKit. This data stays within your Apple account.

Marketplace accounts. If you connect eBay or other marketplace accounts, authentication is handled through the platform's official OAuth flow. We store only the access tokens needed to manage your listings, secured in the iOS Keychain. We never see or store your marketplace passwords.

Device authentication. We use Apple's DeviceCheck framework to verify that requests come from a genuine iOS device. This does not identify you personally.

Email address (optional). You may choose to provide your email address to receive product updates, tips, and announcements. This is entirely optional and can be done during onboarding or in Settings. If you subscribe, your email is stored securely in our database and added to our Mailchimp mailing list. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

Anonymous analytics. We use AppsFlyer to understand how users find Reliqra (e.g., which ad or link led to an install) and to measure subscription conversions. AppsFlyer collects a device identifier for attribution purposes. This data is not linked to your identity and is not used to track you across other apps. We also participate in Apple's SKAdNetwork for privacy-preserving install attribution.

2. Information we do not collect

• We do not require an account, name, or phone number to use the app.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing.
• We do not track you across other apps or websites.
• We do not use your email for anything other than product updates if you choose to subscribe.

3. Third-party services

Reliqra uses the following third-party services to provide its features:

• OpenAI — AI-powered collectible identification (privacy policy)
• Greysheet / CDN Publishing — coin and currency pricing data
• eBay — marketplace listing and order management (when you connect your account)
• Apple iCloud/CloudKit — inventory sync across your devices
• Amazon Web Services — secure API proxies and photo storage
• AppsFlyer — install attribution and subscription analytics (privacy policy)
• Mailchimp — email newsletter delivery, if you subscribe (privacy policy)

4. Data storage and security

Your inventory lives on your device and in your iCloud account. Photos are stored in a private S3 bucket accessible only through authenticated, time-limited URLs. API credentials are stored server-side in AWS Secrets Manager and are never embedded in the app. Authentication tokens on your device are stored in the iOS Keychain with hardware-backed encryption.

5. Data retention

Your data persists as long as you use the app. If you delete the app, local data is removed from that device. iCloud-synced data can be managed through your Apple ID settings. Photos stored in S3 remain until you delete them through the app.

6. Children's privacy

Reliqra is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be noted with an updated effective date at the top of this page.
